SubmitInFocus Financial Advisors Strengthens Community Support with Generous Contribution to the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation
InFocus Financial Advisors, Inc., a leading Delmarva financial planning firm dedicated to helping people build sound retirement investment strategies, cash-flow, and tax optimization, since 2005, proudly announces its recent donation of $3,000 to the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation.
Annually, the Foundation makes a significant impact on over 130,000 individuals through two flagship programs: the Arts Access Initiative and Freeman Arts. The renowned Freeman Arts Pavilion in Selbyville, Delaware, hosts a multitude of live arts performances. These performances extend beyond the Pavilion to various schools and community centers across the Delmarva region when not staged at the venue.
“We are proud to support the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation in their mission to enrich our local community through the arts,” said Eric Johnston, CFP®, President and Financial Advisor. “This donation reflects our commitment to celebrating creativity, cultural appreciation, and fostering community engagement. By investing in the arts, we are investing in the vitality and well-being of our community.”
Currently, the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation is in its third of five phases of a $35 million capital campaign with just over $27 million contributed so far. This year the pavilion’s canteen was expanded, adding 60% more square footage to bolster and improve food and beverage operations. Eventually, the stage will be re-oriented to face outward toward Route 54. By 2027, the Freeman Arts Pavilion will have a capacity of 4,000 seats.
“InFocus Financials’ generous donation is instrumental in advancing our mission of making the arts accessible to all members of our community,” said Darren Silvis, development director, Joshua M. Freeman Foundation. “Their support allows us to continue providing transformative arts experiences through our programs. We are grateful for their partnership in fulfilling the vision of the Foundation.”
Since 2008, the Pavilion has welcomed over 800,000 patrons. Over 50% of the Foundation’s performances are free to the public. The organization reaches over 27,000 local school children every year in Sussex County Delaware as well as Wicomico and Worcester counties in Maryland.
